(Pictures of Sean and Hunter Japan March 2007)
We are headed to Japan in 1 week! Despite the fact that I am not prepared at all I'm starting to get very excited (except for the plane ride with 3 kids). We will be visiting friends on the hot humid island of Shikoku and living on an orange farm for two weeks. In addition to sightseeing and visiting the kids will be going to a small Japanese school for a whole week!
We've started a 50 picture photo challenge for ourselves. I'm soliciting ideas so please email if you have any. Our goal is to find and take a picture of each of the items below. We welcome both obscure and and given ideas. We will post the complete list before we leave and will most definitely post all of our pictures when we return. what a great idea! Have a super vacation.
What comes to mind are the monks in the tangerine robes chanting while walking and using incense :)
NICE TRIP..ENJOY YOUR VACATION...I HOPE SOMETIME YOU CAN COME TO PERU AND VISIT ME AND ZIO.....
Have fun on your trip...it will be fantastic I'm sure and can't wait to see your pics. If by chance you catch all 3 kids sleeping on the plane ride over, I would take a picture of that! Or anything from their point of view...I love those kind of pictures taken down low where they are seeing/experiencing life! have fun :)
Sarah, What a wonderful way to document your trip. I am truly envious. I am going to pass my 10 year search on to you. Since I was in college I have been on the hunt for the infamous square watermelons. Have a fantastic trip. As intimidating as it seems, travelling with 3 kids in Japan is really a great adventure. You will be amazed by what they notice. Can't wait to hear your tells.
