Big City

We've been coming to San Francisco for so many years that there are some years when we don't even make it to downtown SF. I love cozying up in my grandmother's childhood house or crossing the bridge and visiting the Berkeley cousins. We enjoy exploring the local neighborhoods where I feel the people are nicer and the food even better.

To our great surprise we've enjoyed being tourists again in the big city with cousins and friends.

Within 48hours we had covered Chinatown, Ferry Building, Embarcadaro, Lombard Street, Ghirardelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Park, Ferry Rides, Muni, Walking, Walking and more Walking.

Sean and cousins have returned home to Oregon. Missing them today.

p.s. SF is famous for being cold in the summer but it's coooooold this week. Stocking cap and scarf cold. We're heading north to the river mid-week for some sun therapy. Seriously, how to people cope with the cold summers here?
